Pre-university registration for MEDICINE
Register from the Monday, August 17th to Monday, August 31st, 2026
To enroll in the preparatory course for medicine, you must have a minimum average of 8,50/10.
*Remember that if you have a GPA between 8,50/10 and 9,19/10, you must complete the preparatory course to register for the entrance exam. If you have a GPA of 9.2/10 or higher, the pre-university program is optional.
How is the average calculated?
The complete grades from the second and third years of high school are considered.

Registration and activation of an institutional account
You must complete the registration form and declare the truthfulness of the information provided.
Once you have saved the form, the University will assign you an institutional email account (@es.uazuay.edu.ec) , which will be sent to the personal email address you registered. We recommend that you also check your spam or junk mail folder.
It is essential that you activate your institutional account and check it frequently, as all official notifications will be sent exclusively to this email address.
Information verification and payment
The University reviews the information you registered on the registration form and verifies the academic documents you submitted.
The results of this review will be sent to your institutional email address; you will also receive instructions for making the corresponding payment. The course fee is $650,00.
